3 days IREB HRD Corp claimable Exam included

CPRE Foundation Level

Requirements engineering done right, taught by people who have written bad requirements themselves.

What you will learn.

CPRE Foundation Level is IREB’s internationally recognised entry certification for requirements engineering. Over three days it covers the whole discipline across seven structured knowledge areas — eliciting requirements through interviews, workshops and observation; documenting them in natural language, templates and models; validating them against real stakeholder needs; and managing them as they change.

It’s built for business analysts, product owners, project managers, testers, developers and architects — anyone who gathers, writes or signs off requirements and is tired of the rework that vague ones cause. There are no prerequisites; it’s the right starting point whatever your role.

You leave with a shared vocabulary and a repeatable toolkit for getting requirements right the first time, plus an internationally recognised credential that doesn’t expire and opens the door to every advanced IREB module. The official IREB CPRE-FL exam is included, with the exam date based on the MSTB exam calendar, and the course is HRD Corp claimable.

Who should attend

  • Business analysts moving into requirements engineering
  • Product owners who need to write specifications their engineers will actually read
  • QA engineers who want to understand the source of the bugs they are finding
  • Project managers tired of requirements changes mid-sprint
  • Technical writers and system analysts crossing over from documentation

What you can do straight away.

Elicit requirements from stakeholders who do not know what they want
Document requirements in a form that survives contact with engineering
Apply the six-questions framework for high-quality elicitation
Trace requirements from stakeholder need through to test case
Manage requirements changes without losing the audit trail
Pass the IREB CPRE-FL examination on first attempt
